In response to the invitation of H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and delegation will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation between 7-11 May 2024 to further strengthen and enhance the friendly relations and good cooperation between two nations, celebrate the 30^th anniversary of conclusion of the Treaty on Amity between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Russian Federation (1994-2024) and participate  as a guest of honour in the 79^th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In response to the invitation of H.E. Thongloun SISOULITH, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, H.E. Dr. Jose Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and delegation will pay a state visit to the Lao PDR from 27^th February – 2^nd March 2024, to further strengthen the existing friendly relations and good cooperation between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

Mr. Saleumxay KOMMASITH, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic will pay an official visit to the Swiss Confederation on 24-28 February 2024 to further strengthen and enhance the long-standing friendly relations and good cooperation between the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Swiss Confederation.
