In the morning of 6 September 2016 at the National Convention Center, Vientiane, H.E. Saleumxay KOMMASITH, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, chaired the 18^th ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC) Meeting with the participation of ASEAN Foreign Ministers, Secretary-General of ASEAN and delegates of all ASEAN Member States.

The Meeting discussed preparations of the 28^th and 29^th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits and the follow - up to the 27^th ASEAN Summit in Malaysia in 2015 last year.

The Meeting also considered and noted 6 reports namely, 1). The Report of the Secretary-General of ASEAN on the Work of ASEAN; 2). The Report of the Secretary-General of ASEAN on the Functions and Operations of the ASEAN Secretariat; 3). The Report of the Committee of the Permanent Representative to ASEAN; 4). The Report of the Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation; 5). The Report of the Chair of the Initiative of ASEAN Integration (IAI) Task Force; and 6). The Report of the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee. Importanly, the Meeting endorsed the outcome documents of the 28^th and 29^th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits, including the IAI Workplan III and the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025 which shall be integral part of the ASEAN Community Vision 2025.
