By responding the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Hakan FIDAN, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mr. Saleumxay KOMMASITH, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic has led the Lao delegation to pay an Official Visit to the Republic of Türkiye from 4 to 5 February 2024 in order to continue to strengthen and further enhance the long-standing bilateral cooperation between the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Republic of Türkiye.
During the visit, H.E. Mr. Saleumxay KOMMASITH, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR also paid a Courtesy call to H.E. Mr. Cevdet Yilmaz, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye.
H.E. Mr. Saleumxay KOMMASITH attended the Workshop on Power Sector Reforms Experience from the Republic of Türkiye.
H.E. Mr. Saleumxay KOMMASITH also visited the Honorary Consulate of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, receiving by Mr. Nihat Ozpinar, Honorary Consul of the Lao PDR to Republic of Türkiye.
On the same day, H.E. Mr. Saleumxay KOMMASITH led delegation to the Ataturk's Mausoleum for the Wreath Laying.
