Message of Sympathy regarding to the flooding occurred in the southeastern KwaZulu-Natal province of the Republic of South Africa on 12th April 2022

                

Vientiane, 19 April 2022

Your Excellency,

I have learned of the flooding occurred in the southeastern KwaZulu-Natal province of the Republic of South Africa on 12th April 2022 causing tremendous loss of lives and properties of the South African people.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic as well as on my own behalf, I would like to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of South Africa, particularly to the family of the victims.

I am confident that under the intensive efforts by the Government, the people of South Africa will be able to overcome the difficulties and restore the living conditions of those affected to normalcy soon.
