Excellency,

            On the occasion of the 53^th Anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, on behalf of the Government, people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency, the Government and the friendly people of Bangladesh.

            I am delighted to note that the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh have enjoyed a long-standing friendly relations and good cooperation over the past years. I am convinced that the existing good relations between our two countries will be further strengthened in the years to come for mutual benefits of our two peoples.

            I would like to take this opportunity to wish Your Excellency good health, well-being and greater success in your noble tasks, and the friendly people of Bangladesh continued progress and prosperity.
