            On behalf of the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and on my own behalf, I have a great pleasure to convey my warmest congratulationsto Your Excellency for the landslide victory of the National League for Democracy Party in the general election held on 8 November 2020.

            I am convinced that under Your Excellency’s wise leadership and rich experience, the Myanmar Government will have a greater success in the efforts to defeat and control the outbreak of COVID-19 in Myanmar as well as to revive its economy in order to bring about more progress and prosperity to the Myanmar people in the years to come. I am pleased to continue working closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen thefriendly relations and good cooperationbetween Laos and Myanmar for mutual benefits of the peoples of our two nations.
