Your Excellency,

On the occasion of the 88^th Anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Iraq and the 45^th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic ties between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Iraq, I have a great pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and through Your Excellency to the entire officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq.

I am delighted to witness that the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Iraq have enjoyed friendly relations for over four and a half decades. I look forward to further working with Your Excellency in order to strengthen such existing good bonds of friendship between our two countries in the years to come for mutual benefits of our two nations.

May I take this auspicious occasion to wish Your Excellency good health, happiness and greater success in your noble tasks.
