          We have learned with deep sorrow over the tragic event occurred at the Christmas market in the heart of Berlin, Germany on 19 December 2016, which caused a lot of victims and injured people. We strongly condemn such terror act perpetrated against Germany.

          On behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, we would like to express our deep condolences and sympathy to the Government and the people of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as the bereaved families affected by this barbaric act.
