H.E. Bounnhang Vorachit, President of the Lao PDR with high ranking delegation of Laos had arrived Beijing Capital, China on 13 May 2017, in order to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation: “Cooperation for Common Prosperity”, which is a two days meeting from 14-15 May 2017.
On 14 May 2017, Lao President Bounnhang Vorachit attended the opening ceremony of the forum, which was attended by more than 1.500 delegates from over 130 countries from Asia, Europe, America and Africa that consist of 29 leader state heads of government, and also some international organizations.
