ພັກປະຊາຊົນ ປະຕິວັດລາວ ທີ່ມີກຽດສະຫງ່າ ໝັ້ນຍືນ! ຊົມເຊີຍວັນສ້າງຕັ້ງພັກປະຊາຊົນປະຕິວັດລາວ ຄົບຮອບ 65 ປີ ຢ່າງສຸດໃຈ! ຂໍ່ານັບຮັບຕ້ອນວັນຄ້າຍວັນເກີດປະທານ ໄກສອນ ພົມວິຫານ ຄົບຮອບ 100 ປີ; ວັນສະຖາປະນາ ສປປ ລາວ ຄົບຮອບ 45 ປີ; ກອງປະຊຸມໃຫຍ່ ຄັ້ງທີ XI ຂອງພັກປະຊາຊົນ ປະຕິວັດລາວ; ກອງປະຊຸມໃຫຍ່ອົງຄະນະພັກ ຄັ້ງທີ IV ຂອງກະຊວງການຕ່າງປະເທດ ແລະ ວັນການທູດລາວ ຄົບຮອບ 77 ປີ.

Thongphanindia

His Excellency Thongphane SAVANPHET, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Laos’ ASEAN SOM Leader, led the Lao Delegation to attend the 19th ASEAN-India Dialogue held on 5-7 March 2017 in New Delhi, India. The Meeting was co-chaired by His Excellency Nguyen Quoc Dzung, Vice Foreign Minister and Viet Nam’s ASEAN SOM Leader, and Her Excellency Preeti Saran, Secretary (East) of the Ministry of External Affairs and India’s SOM Leader.

The Meeting reviewed the ASEAN-India cooperation over the past years and discussed future directions for ASEAN-India cooperation, in particular ways to effectively implement the outcomes of the 14th ASEAN-India Summit held in September last year in the Lao PDR as well as the ASEAN-India Plan of Action 2016-2020. In addition, the meeting discussed the list of joint activities to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations throughout this year, including holding the Commemorative Summit to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations in January 2018. The Meeting also touched upon preparations for the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference (PMC) 10+1 Session with India and the 14th ASEAN-India Summit to be held in August and November 2017, respectively in the Philippines, and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest and concern.

At the sideline of the 19th ASEAN-India Senior Officials’ Meeting, H.E. Thongphane SAVANPHET also attended the Act East Dialogue, organized by Brookings India Institute, on 5 April 2017 and delivered his remarks focusing on improved ASEAN-India connectivity, particularly on land, air and people-to-people connectivity. The Dialogue was attended by high-level officials, policy makers and researchers from ASEAN Member Countries and India.
