Excellency,

            On behalf of the Government and the entire Lao people and on my own behalf, I have a great honour to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the friendly people of South Africa on the occasion of the 29^th Anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of South Africa.

            I highly value the friendly relations and good cooperation between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of South Africa over the past years. I am confident that the existing friendly relations between our two countries will be further developed in the years to come for mutual benefits of the peoples of our two nations.

            May I take this opportunity to wish Your Excellency good health, well-being and greater success in your noble tasks, and the friendly people of South Africa continued progress and prosperity.
