Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith met with his counterparts from friendly countries on the sidelines of the 50^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting and related meetings in the Philippines on Aug 4-8, 2017.

Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR met with Mr. Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China and his delegation on Aug 6; Mr. Pham Binh Minh,Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam on Aug 5; Sri Lankan foreign minister Ravi Karunanayake and his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

During the bilateral meetings, the minister and his foreign counterparts discussed and shared views on how to promote and strengthen the relations and cooperation between Laos and the foreign countries.
