            On behalf of victims’ families and on my own behalf, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Your Excellency for your sympathy and condolences extended to the Lao People over the Flooding disaster which occurred in the Sanamxay district, Attapeu Province of the Lao PDR.

            I am confident that your Excellency’s cordial sympathetic and thoughtful gesture reflecting the Lao-German friendship ties and good cooperation will serve as significant encouragement for us to overcome this severe catastrophe and restore the affected population’s livelihoods to normalcy as soon as possible.
