The Year 2018 marks the 10^th Anniversary of our diplomatic relations. The Lao PDR and Kuwait have enjoyed friendly relations and good cooperation over the past ten years. I do hope that our existing friendship and cooperation will expand to various fields for mutual benefits of our two peoples.

I would like to congratulate on the achievements gained by Kuwait in the cause of national development over the past years as well as the outstanding role of Kuwait in regional and international arena.

Since the establishment of our diplomatic relations on 14 July 2008, the Lao PDR and Kuwait have enjoyed friendly relations and good cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks. As the year 2018 marks the 10^th Anniversary of Laos-Kuwait diplomatic relations, the two sides will discuss various activities in order to celebrate such significant occasion. I do hope that our existing good cooperation will further expand in the years to come for mutual benefits of our two Ministries and our two countries.
