ພັກປະຊາຊົນ ປະຕິວັດລາວ ທີ່ມີກຽດສະຫງ່າ ໝັ້ນຍືນ! ຊົມເຊີຍວັນສ້າງຕັ້ງພັກປະຊາຊົນປະຕິວັດລາວ ຄົບຮອບ 65 ປີ ຢ່າງສຸດໃຈ! ຂໍ່ານັບຮັບຕ້ອນວັນຄ້າຍວັນເກີດປະທານ ໄກສອນ ພົມວິຫານ ຄົບຮອບ 100 ປີ; ວັນສະຖາປະນາ ສປປ ລາວ ຄົບຮອບ 45 ປີ; ກອງປະຊຸມໃຫຍ່ ຄັ້ງທີ XI ຂອງພັກປະຊາຊົນ ປະຕິວັດລາວ; ກອງປະຊຸມໃຫຍ່ອົງຄະນະພັກ ຄັ້ງທີ IV ຂອງກະຊວງການຕ່າງປະເທດ ແລະ ວັນການທູດລາວ ຄົບຮອບ 77 ປີ.

On 20th March 2019, The signing ceremony for the Exchange of Notes on four Grant Aid Projects was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vientiane Capital. The notes were signed and exchanged by H.E.Mr Sengphet HOUNGBOUNNUANG, Deputy-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR and H.E.Mr.Takeshi HIKIHAEA, Ambassador of Japan to the Lao PDR and witnessed by line ministries. Thetotal value of these four grants is JPY 1,000 million (about USD 8.9 million)

The four initiatives signed include:

-  Economic and Social Development Programme (Fisheries and Aquaculture Sector) (JPY 200 million (about USD 1.8 million))

-  Economic and Social Development Programme (Public Security Sector) (JPY 200 million (about USD 1.8 million))

-  Economic and Social Development Programme (Fiscal Stability Sector) (JPY 500 million (about USD 4.5 million))

-  Grant Aid Project for the purpose of contributing to the implementation of the (Detailed Design) Project for the Expansion of Water supply System in Luang Prabang City (JPY 97 million (about USD 0.87 million))

Officials from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR) and Australia met for the 13th High Level Consultations on Bilateral Relations in Vientiane on 31 October.

  On October 8, 2018 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, Mrs Khampao Ernthavanh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Lao government presented a donating of US$ 100.000 to Mr. RP Pratito Soeharyo, Indonesian Ambassador to the Lao PDR, Representative of the Indonesian Government, in order to contribute for assisting in restoration the effect from the earthquakes and tsunami that hit Central Sulawesi, Indonesia on September 28, 2018 causing loss of lives and extensive damage to properties.
