I have learned with profound sadness of severe flooding and landslides brought by the tropical storm Nalgae in Southern Province of the Philippines, causing extensive loss of lives and properties of  the Filipino people living in the affected areas.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and on my own behalf, I would like to convey my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Your Excellency, the Government and Filipino people particularly to the families of the victims.

I am confident that under the leadership and wisdom of Your Excellency, the Government and the Filipino people will be able to overcome this difficult time and restore the affected area to normalcy soon.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and on my own behalf, I would like to convey my profound condolences and deep sympathy through Your Excellency to the Government and the Filipino people, particularly to the families of the victims affected by this natural disaster.

I am confident that under intensive effort by the Government, the Filipino people will be able to overcome this difficult time and restore the affected areas by this natural calamity to normalcy soon.
