I have learned with deepest sadness over the collapse of suspension bridge in India’s western state of Gujarat on 30^th October 2022, causing loss of lives and many of victims were injured.

On behalf of the Government and Lao people and on my own behalf, I would like to express my sincere condolences and profound sympathy to Your Excellency through to the Government and people of India, particularly to the bereaved families of the victims.

I am confident that under the intensive efforts of the Government, the people of India will be able to overcome this moment of grief.
