I have learned with deepest sadness over the collapse of suspension bridge in India’s western state of Gujarat on 30th October 2022, causing loss of lives and many of victims were injured.
On behalf of the Government and Lao people and on my own behalf, I would like to express my sincere condolences and profound sympathy to Your Excellency through to the Government and people of India, particularly to the bereaved families of the victims.
I am confident that under the intensive efforts of the Government, the people of India will be able to overcome this moment of grief.
