I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your heartfelt congratulations and best wishes extended to me upon my appointment as the President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

I am very delighted to note that the friendly relations of cooperation between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Austria have been continuously developed over the past years. I am strongly confident that with common efforts, the excellent relations between our two nations will be further strengthened and flourished in the years to come for the mutual benefits of our two peoples.
