I am pleased to witness that the traditional friendly relations and good bilateral cooperation between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Singapore have been developed and expanded over the past four decades. I am confident that with Your Excellency’s able leadership and rich experience, such friendly relations and existing good cooperation will be further strengthened in the years to come for mutual benefits of the peoples of our two countries as well as for peace, friendship and cooperation for development in the region and the world            at large.
