Excellency,
I have learned with profound sadness over the earthquake occurred in Elazig and Malatya Provinces, Turkey on 24 January 2020, which causednumerous deaths and injured peoplesincluding destruction of property.
I would like to express my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to your Excellency and through you the families of the victims and their love ones.
I am confident that under the able leadership of your Government and traditional resilience of the Turkish people, the people of the Republic of Turkey will be able to overcome the difficulties of this disaster and livelihoods of the affected populations be restored to normalcy soon.
