Excellency,

On behalf of the entire Lao people and on my own behalf, I have a great pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the friendly Indian people on the occasion of the 70^th Anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of India.

I am pleased to note that the Lao PDR and the Republic of India have enjoyed the traditional friendly ties and effective cooperation over the past 64 years. I am confident that the long-lasting friendship between our two countries as well as our two peoples will be further enhanced in the years to come for the mutual benefits of our two nations as well as for regional development and prosperity. In this regard, on behalf of the Government and the Lao people I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Government and the Indian people for the valuable support and assistance extended to the Lao PDR over the past years.

On this auspicious occasion, may I wish Your Excellency good health, well-being and greater success in your noble tasks and the friendly Indian people continued progress and prosperity.
