Your Honorable,

            On behalf of the entire Lao people and on my own behalf, I have the great honor to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Honorable, the Government and the Australian people on the occasion of the 232^nd Anniversary of the National Day of Australia.

I highly value the longstanding ties of friendship and effective cooperation between Laos and Australia over the past 67 years. The Government and the Lao people would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Government and the Australian people for the valuable support and assistance extended to the Lao PDR in various areas, particularly in education, human resources development, agriculture, investment as well as the support to flood recovery in many provinces of Laos in 2019.

I do hope that our two countries will continue to support each other inregional and international area in the years to come for the mutual benefits of our two peoples.

May I take this auspicious occasion to wish Your Honorable good health, well-being and success in your noble tasks and the Australian people continued progress and prosperity.
