       I would like to extend my warmest and cordial congratulations to Your Excellency on the occasion of Your appointment as Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan.

       The Lao PDR and Japan have enjoyed a good and friendly relations and cooperation. Our two countries had elevated our relationship to the Strategic Partnership in 2015, which has been further expanded and deepened. I am ready to work closely with Your Excellency both bilaterally and multilaterally to further enhance this strategic partnership for benefits of our two nations, as well as for peace, stability and cooperation for development in the region and in the world.
