On the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic relations between the Lao people’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Turkmenistan, On behalf of the Government and the peoples of the Lao PDR, and on my own, I would like to convey to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations and best wishes and through you to the friendly Turkmenistan people.

            I am truly delighted to witness that in the past 25 years, from the start of the establishment of the Diplomatic relations between our countries, the friendly relations and cooperation between our Governments and peoples have been continuously strengthened and I am confident that it will be further enhanced and strengthened in the years to come for peace, stability and development cooperation in regional and in the world at large.

           I am very pleased to note that over the past 25 years, the friendly relations and cooperation between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Turkmenistan have been developed on the basis of the principle of international relations, mutual respect and reciprocal benefit. I believe that through our joint efforts Laos-Turkmenistan cooperative relationship will be further strengthened and enhanced in the interest of our two peoples and that of regional and global peace, stability and development cooperation.
